PRODUCT MARKETING MANAGER:


Schell Games is looking for a skilled Product Marketing Manager to join an energetic, fast-paced marketing department. This person will support the department’s initiatives for promoting its original games to consumer audiences. This individual will possess foundational marketing and campaign management experience, as well as outstanding communication and organizational skills. They will have people management experience. The candidate will be friendly, curious, adaptive, and enjoy working in a team-driven environment. This person will have a passion for games and understand the complexities of various game stores and social communities. This position will manage at least one team member and report to the Sr. Director of Marketing.


AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:


  • Conceive, develop, and implement marketing plans to promote our original games, primarily post-launch, in the consumer marketplace
  • Supervise direct report(s)
  • Work closely with the entire Marketing team to coordinate projects and resources
  • Work closely with the Product and Development teams to understand our original games, along with their features, gameplay, and development timelines
  • Review and communicate campaign messaging and strategy regularly with the Marketing, Development, and Product teams for key initiatives
  • Provide creative direction on social campaigns and marketing materials
  • Maintain and review budgets
  • Develop and communicate sales pricing strategies for our original games
  • Maintain product store pages 
  • Develop social media strategy and planning for our original games
  • Oversee e-commerce strategy and efforts
  • Manage arcade strategy and efforts
  • Analyze and report on marketing campaigns in an effort to determine the success of those efforts and to inform future marketing plans


REQUIREMENTS:


  • 5+ years of marketing experience
  • Previous experience in a product marketing role
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, community management, and social media marketing
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Project management skills, coupled with the ability to prioritize tasks and responsibilities across projects
  • Ability to work with different teams and effectively coordinate their activities to achieve desired results
  • Previous experience as a people manager
  • Solid understanding of popular social networks, including Discord, Reddit, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram 
  • Ability to interact as part of a team and to contribute to increasing productivity goals and efficiencies
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle several projects at one time
